The sun was glaringly bright even though it hung low in the sky, and he could still hear everyone’s laughter and fighting even though he was far from their inn. Quite frankly, he didn’t understand how they did this every day, especially with the games currently going on.
Laxus shook his head, figuring that he’d never understand them. He simply continued - shoulders back, hands in his pocket, head high - down whatever road he was on. It was a quiet path, something he was fine with, because too much noise was irritable - making it a miracle that he actually cared for Fairy Tail with how loud they were - and he really didn’t know where it would lead him. A bar, perhaps, that was scarcely populated, or even a park.
He didn’t exactly mean to be an introvert, but he did need his “quiet time” now and again, and-
Now that he no longer heard the cacophony of noise coming from Fairy Tail, he heard a second set of foot falls some distance behind him. He let a spark of electricity crackle across his body before he turned around with bored eyes to face the person.
